Introducing Sterling Chiropractor Dr. Vivian Kim
Dr. Vivian Mi Ran Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to the US when she was four years old. Here is a bit about her family: her father, KB Kim, does International Trade; her mother, Clara, owns Tyson’s Lobby Shop; and her brother, John, owns Magnum Multimedia, a graphic design company. She practices with her fiancé, Dr. Corey Malnikof, and has two dogs, Kingston and Maggie. She grew up in Springfield, Virginia and was active with field hockey, gymnastics, softball, and horseback riding.
Dr. Vivian graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors degree in Biology. After an amazing life-changing experience with a chiropractor, who helped her debilitating menstrual cramps disappear, she decided chiropractic was the chosen path for her. She continued on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and graduated with honors. She was an assistant teacher in both Spinal and Gross Anatomy, Organ Histology, as well as Radiology.
She is well trained in a variety of chiropractic techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, Activator, SOT, CMRT, Extremity, Maternity, and Pediatric Care. She is an active member in the American Chiropractic Association, the Masters Circle, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She has attended well over 40 seminars in technique, philosophy, business management, and personal growth.
Her hobbies include working out, yoga, hiking, reading, cooking, and spending valuable time with friends and family. She is most passionate about helping others to reach their optimum level of health in all areas of their lives; physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially. Nothing brightens her day more than adjusting newborn babies. Her youngest patient was 2 days old and still in the hospital! For her, everyday is a blessing and empowering others to make healthy choices is her purpose in life.
